REV Projects: Dover, Canterbury and Elvington

Full Throttle UK is currently running three REV Projects - our popular accredited course introducing young people to the world of motorcycling. We haven't run three courses concurrently for a while, so it has certainly been a busy time!

The courses are running in East Kent working with a variety of young people from rural and urban communities. We have been very impressed by the participants and their willingness to take on information regarding legal riding.

In Elvington, in particular, there is a history of off-road riding in the local former collier site. This project provides an exciting opportunity to help the group to transit from off roading to legal road riding.

At the Dover project we have placed a strong emphasis on the Theory Test - the follow-up stage to getting a full lisence. Participants have focussed on Hazzard Perception training, and everyone has passed mock tests that we run.

The participants are now waiting for their provisional lisences to arrive from the DVLA and taking their CBTs (Compulsory Basic Training) sessions.
